Sessions explained - Quick Version

  • My aim is to be someone you can talk with, who won’t tell you what to do, or judge you for the things you say.

  • I will keep what you tell me confidential, as long as there isn’t a serious risk of harm to you or others.

When And How Many?

  • Fridays in the morning or early afternoon

  • Every week at the same time

  • Usually face to face

  • You can keep coming for as many sessions as you want - there is no right or wrong number of sessions

  • As long as you let me know 24hrs in advance there is no charge for a missed session

  • Each session is £45

  • Each session is 50 minutes long

What Will I Have To Do?

  • Use your time with me to talk as little or as much as you want to

  • Talk about whatever you feel the need to talk about

  • You do not need to have a clear idea about what you want to say

  • There is no homework

What Happens Before We Start?

  • You will need to provide me with your contact details, emergency contact details, and your GP details in case of emergencies.

  • I will share some more details about how to get to the session

  • I will share a contract with you - it’s not full of small print but is an agreement between us about how we will work together.

  • We will agree a first session date and time

  • If you’d like to talk a little over the phone before our first session, we can arrange a time to have that chat.
